About Us


Welstand was started in 2013 as a subsidiary of Revelstoke Property Services Inc (incorporated 2011) and officially incorporated as its own entity in 2014. The company was founded by Scott Duke, after meeting Brad MacDonald of BDM consulting. Brad introduced Scott to the industry and this introduction was the seed that started the company. In the Kootenay’s, at the time, the only licensed companies selling small business were real estate agents. As an entrepreneur having owned ten companies, Scott knew the experience and knowledge needed to successfully sell a company, was greater than what was currently available in the market.   Welstand was thus created to service this customer need and make the buying and selling of companies a more enjoyable experience for all involved.



Scott Duke

Scott Duke has 14 years experience running small business, having owned 10 companies in a variety of industries. He sits on the Chamber of Commerce board in Revelstoke, BC the Economic Development Committee and is a City Councilor overlooking planning & development for the community of Revelstoke. He is a managing broker of two real estate firms and director of the radio station Stoke FM 92.5. He is a graduate of the University of Guelph Bachelor of Computing program and also a graduate of the CBI program though IBBA University. Scott was recently awarded the 40 under 40 designation from Kootenay Business Magazine and was featured in Portico, the Guelph Alumni magazine as a business leader. Since 2013 Scott has focused his energy on helping business owners transition their companies.


Eve Northmore
Account / Marketing Manager

Eve Northmore has owned two companies, one focused on event marketing and the other in property management. She has 8 years experience in account management, specializing in company financials. Eve’s primary role at Welstand is brand development and marketing to ensure clients listings reach as many qualified buyers as possible.


Niketa Meunier
Office Admin

Niketa has 8 years experience of office management, customer support and client relations. She is the backbone of our office and is an essential component in keeping our company operating smoothly.
